Catching up to 2024!
This blog post has been a long time coming. We’re nearly at the end of Spring and closer to the school summer break in July, and yet it's taken me a long time to sit down and write. I meant to share a bit about my trip home in February, however, a combination of factors delayed that process, which I'll share more about later. This year has flown by so quickly yet it feels like I’m still in the first quarter. I visited home in February as our 2023 school year only ended in late January and the new school year started in March. So 2024 still feels pretty new to me! Working through December and January was incredibly hard for all of us. The students were tired, and the teachers were exhausted therefore keeping energy levels up till the end of the school year required a huge amount of effort.
